Eyewear company Shady Rays is once again offering a trade-in program, this time centered on sunglasses.
Those who bring in any pair of new, used, or damaged sunglasses (of any brand) to a Shady Rays retail location on the weekend of March 15 to 16 can trade them in for a free new pair of Shady Rays Classic Original Timber COLORUSH sunglasses, valued at $114. The Colorado Shady Rays retail location is located in the Park Meadows Mall of Lone Tree.
Similar to an exchange program offering participants new goggles in recent months, sunglasses that are exchanged will be recycled.
“By giving old sunglasses a second life through recycling, we're keeping waste out of landfills and helping create a more circular economy,” Shady Rays COO Dan Ratterman said.
Customers who take advantage of the exchange program also get access to a 30 percent-off deal for in-store eyewear purchases made at the time of the trade-in.
The exchange program is limited to one pair of sunglasses per customer and is to be considered 'while supplies last' with 50 giveaway pairs available per retail location.
It's also worth noting that Shady Rays is known for their 'Lost and Broken' protection plan, which allows customers to get replacement sunglasses if a pair of Shady Rays that they own is... well, lost or broken.
